Eastern Canada's Heat-transfer Specialists
Much More Than Radiators
From Small Beginnings to One of the Most Modern Shops in North America
Multi Radiator Services Ltd is a second-generation family-owned business. It all started in 1972 when Normand Bastien's father opened Norm’s Radiator Repair in Irishtown, N.B. In 1984, Mr. Bastien retired and sold his three greater Moncton shops.
His three sons, Jean-Guy, Bernie and Camille, purchased the main shop on the Irishtown Road and began operating it as Multi Radiator Services Ltd. A gas tank rebuilding facility was added to the operation two years later. A second location was opened in 1992 and was situated in a leased building on Commercial Street in downtown Moncton. This facility specialized in the repair of automotive radiators and gas tanks. By 1994, the property in downtown Moncton was sold, and the Irishtown location was getting busier with industrial customers from around the Atlantic Provinces. After months of research and planning, it was decided to build a state-of-the-art radiator service facility to accommodate the automotive, industrial radiator and gas tank business. In January 1996, the new shop was opened at 505 MacNaughton Ave. in Moncton’s Caledonia Industrial Park and still is today one of the most modern shops you will find in The Maritimes and Eastern Canada.
Today, Multi Radiator Services Ltd is still operated by new owners, Serge Leblanc, Cory MacDonald, and Marcel Boudreau, who coincidentally had been customers of the owner over several years, which led to the creation of a work relationship and friendship. They still employ the same team of qualified personnel. The business is now under a new administration with the same important values regarding customer satisfaction, knowledge and efficiency.
